I have a new personal website!
This one is made with blogc. It's simple, fast and written in C. What more could you want!
how does blogc work
blogc is a simple command line tool. You put a template and a .txt file in and it outputs an HTML file.
blogc doesn't have an advanced build system like Hugo or Astro. Instead you just write a Makefile and invoke blogc from there!
design choices
As always, the only correct way to write "JustZvan" is with the J and Z capitalized and the font being Pencil Child. This is the way it's written on the homepage.
The font for the rest of the page is Iosevka Term Slab. It's a beautiful monospace serif font.
Everything is black and white like my previous websites.
ZERO JavaScript is present on this website. A site like this doesn't need it.
hosting
This site is hosted on my VPS in the USA. Not much to it really.
The web server is Caddy. This site is also served on Tor and I2P. For Tor the main daemon is used (not the Rust one) and for I2P I2Pd is used.
justzvan.i2p is registered on both reg.i2p and stats.i2p. You shouldn't use *.i2p domains though. *.b32.i2p domains are better because the only way to "steal" a b32 doamin is to get the private key. It's possible to steal *.i2p domains by compromising a registry.
This probably won't happen but it's better to stay safe.
